Thousand Oaks, Calif.-The 67th Annual Conejo Valley Days is set for June 15 through June 25 (dark June 19 and 20) at Conejo Creek Park South (23 Freeway/Janss Rd. exit) in Thousand Oaks. Festival goers can enjoy carnival rides from Kastl Amusements plus midway games for all ages along with traditional fair and specialty foods. CVD features live rock and country bands including the Colette Lovejoy Band and 805 Social Club, and line dancing led by instructor Kristal Lynn.
Entry: $10 per person, free for kids 10 and under. Active-duty military with military I.D., free. $35 unlimited ride wristbands are available for June 15 only. Pre-event ride ticket sale available through the website: 10 rides for $25 (if purchased before 3 p.m., June 15), $5 parking.

The property for Conejo Creek North Park was originally acquired in 1972. The Master Plan was approved in 1989. This 44-acre natural creekside site was completed in 1992.
One of the District's most popular parks, with two ponds connected by a recirculating meandering stream is home to the Main Library, Teen Center and Senior Center.
The park has reservable picnic structures of varying sizes with a total park capacity of several thousand visitors during major community events and festivals. Conejo Creek North Park is also the home of the The Gratitude Circle, a 30-foot diameter circle of natural stones set into grade at a height to allow seating, and incised at the cardinal points by steel panels with space to acknowledge the generosity of financial donors to Play Conejo, a non-profit that supports Conejo Recreation and Park District. Annually, CRPD Board of Directors celebrates and honors individuals who have made a significant contribution of time, effort, or energy to recreation and parks in the Conejo Valley.
