Conejo Creek North Park

379 E Janss Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

The property for Conejo Creek North Park was originally acquired in 1972. The Master Plan was approved in 1989. This 44-acre natural creekside site was completed in 1992.

One of the District's most popular parks, with two ponds connected by a recirculating meandering stream is home to the Main Library, Teen Center and Senior Center.

The park has reservable picnic structures of varying sizes with a total park capacity of several thousand visitors during major community events and festivals. Conejo Creek North Park is also the home of the The Gratitude Circle, a 30-foot diameter circle of natural stones set into grade at a height to allow seating, and incised at the cardinal points by steel panels with space to acknowledge the generosity of financial donors to Play Conejo, a non-profit that supports Conejo Recreation and Park District. Annually, CRPD Board of Directors celebrates and honors individuals who have made a significant contribution of time, effort, or energy to recreation and parks in the Conejo Valley.
