We consider Northern Los Angeles county cities to include include San Fernando Valley (Woodland Hills area) and Conejo Valley (Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village). Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village are some of the most desirable areas to live in and consequently the most expensive. LA's neighboring county includes Ventura County to the north and Orange County to the south.

San Luis Obispo County is on the Central Coast of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 282,424. The county seat is San Luis Obispo. The County of San Luis Obispo government was established in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties in California. The region's approximate 3,300 square miles and 100 miles of coastline. San Luis County is the home of Cal Poly SLO.

Santa Barbara County, California is located in Southern California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 448,229. The county seat is Santa Barbara and the largest city is Santa Maria. Santa Barbara County comprises the Santa Maria-Santa Barbara, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Most of the county is part of the California Central Coast. Mainstays of the county's economy include engineering, resource extraction, winemaking, agriculture & education. The software development and tourism industries are important employers in the southern part of the county.

Ventura County is located in the southern part of state of California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 843,843. The largest city is Oxnard and the county seat is the city of Ventura.  In Ventura County most residents own their homes and there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, large outlet mall (Camarillo Premium Outlets), chruches and parks. Many families and young professionals that live in Ventura County and residents tend to lean liberal. The public schools in Ventura County ranked are above average.
