Twiin Productions Presents: West Beach Music and Arts Festival 2010, Sept. 24-25
Entering its 4th year as one of the nation's premiere music festivals and one of the only of its kind held befittingly at the beach, the West Beach Music & Arts Festival returns to beautiful Santa Barbara on September 24 & 25, 2010, bringing romping, fun-in-the-sun, rock, reggae electro, and jam bands to the beach featuring festivities for family, friends, coworkers, and everyone in between. For two days, Twiin Productions will transform Chase Palm Park at the Beach into a rock n' roll beachfront haven, complete with a three stages, over 75 arts, crafts and cuisine vendors, and at the center of the party, a bamboo-shaded "Oasis Stage" where DJs will spin the warm breezy night away.

40 oz To Freedom at Majestic Ventura Theatre, Sept. 17
40oz. to Freedom is the 1992 debut album by the Southern California ska-punk and dub band Sublime. 40oz. to Freedom received mixed critical reviews upon its first release, but is now generally approved as a sincere record, with many spots of brilliance and ingenuity. Sublime would not achieve any mainstream success until the release of their eponymous album, two months after the overdose death of their lead singer and guitarist, Bradley Nowell, in 1996 (see 1996 in music).

Lynch Mob at Canyon Club, Sept. 25
With an career that spans over 30 years, Lynch Mob's George Lynch is one of the most influential guitarist in modern music. In the 1980s, Lynch’s guitar playing and songwriting catapulted the band Dokken into a highly successful, muti-platinum act. His work with Dokken solidified Lynch as a full-blown guitar hero, earning a Grammy nomination in 1989 for best instrumental. After recording and touring relentlessly through much of the decade, Lynch left Dokken in 1989 to form Lynch Mob, and enjoyed success with tracks like "Tangled In The Web," and more.
